Why I Love What I Do
Hey there — I’m Cassidy, the voice behind Cassidy’s Compass! I’m so glad you’ve found your way here.
This blog is all about following your inner compass — that quiet but powerful guide within each of us that points us toward balance, healing, and purpose. For me, that journey has always led to nature, movement, and holistic wellness.
I’ve been passionate about natural health since I was a kid. Whether it was trying herbal teas, learning about essential oils, or reading every wellness book I could get my hands on, I’ve always believed in the body’s ability to heal and thrive with the help of nature. Over the years, that love for holistic living has only grown stronger — and it’s now the heartbeat of this blog.
These days, you can usually find me outside — biking along wooded trails, running by the water, or paddle boarding under the sun. I believe the outdoors holds a kind of medicine we all need, and I love helping others reconnect with it as a way to feel more alive and grounded.Right now, I’m also working toward becoming a certified yoga teacher! I’m excited to begin weaving movement and mindfulness into my wellness offerings and sharing that journey with you too.

My Moving Meditation
When I’m out on the water with my paddle board, time slows down. It’s where I reconnect with my breath, move with intention, and soak up the healing power of nature. For me, paddle boarding is more than a sport — it’s a form of mindfulness in motion, and one of my favorite ways to recharge.
The Adventure Seeker in Me
Whether it’s a spontaneous hike, a new trail run, or a weekend camping trip, I’m always chasing that feeling of freedom that comes with outdoor adventure. Nature keeps me grounded but also pushes me — and I believe growth happens when we step outside our comfort zones and into the wild.
